Meeting Rooms

Each of our meeting rooms has its own distinctive character and atmosphere. All have good natural light and each room offers a flexible layout to suit your requirements. They range from cozy lounges to larger more spacious halls. Our main hall accommodates up to 350 people and has its own sound system and cry room.

For large groups there are 10 break-away training areas available. Write ‘n Wipe boards, screens, OHP’s, Data Projectors, DVD Players can be booked for use prior to arrival.

Nils Hall

Named after the founder of “Skogheim Christian Conference Centre”. This is the largest meeting room. Ideal for large seminars, lectures and classroom-style teaching. It is equipped with a screen space and white board. A sound system and cry room are available.

Nils Half Round

Adjoining the Nils Hall, this smaller room can be used as a ‘break-away’ space when using the Nils Hall. It is useful for small group work and meetings.

The Pillars

“The room with pillars”. Located in the Nils Centre, this smaller room can be used as a ‘break-away’ space. It is useful for small group work and meetings.

Childrens Room

Below the Nils Hall, this room is equipped with children’s desks and a carpet for group work. Cots are also available. It can be adapted for small group work and meetings for up to 60 adults.

The Nest

“A place of privacy with a view from the trees”. Located in the Nest Accommodation block, overlooking the garden. This smaller room can be used as a ‘break-away’ space. It is suitable for informal group work and meetings. It is equipped with a screen and white board. It has an attached tea service facility.

Phumula Place

Named as our ‘Place of Rest’. It is used for meetings and can be converted into a 20 bed dormitory when required.
This room is ideal for meetings, small seminars and group work. It is equipped with a screen and white board.

Viking Hall

Named in honour of the original Norwegian Settler family who called their farm “Skogheim”.
Situated within the Viking Accommodation block. This room is ideal for meetings and small group work. It is equipped with a screen, white board and piano. It has an attached tea service facility.

The Pavilion

Named for it’s open air layout. Located next to the swimming pool. It offers an ideal space for break away groups in an informal setting. Enjoys lovely cool breezes during our summer months. It is also used as a dining area for braai’s and guests using our camping site.

The Cellars

Located below the Pavilion. It is ideal for break away groups in an informal setting and is used as the meeting hall by groups using the tented accommodation.

Ruth Lounge

Named after the grandmother of our founder, Nils Brauteseth, in memory of her missionary vision.
This lounge is for use of adults only. It offers an ideal space for individual ministry in a relaxed comfortable setting. It can be adapted for use of small group break aways of not more than 20 people.
